Assist the homeless and low-income community to connect with the service providers for food, clothing, shelter, and health care.

Currently the app covers the service providers based in Austin. Plans are in place to expand this app to cover the service providers in Texas State and later nation-wide

Arushi Sharma

ServiceSPOTTER App has been independently developed by Arushi Sharma, Senior at James Bowie High School in Austin, TX.

Arushi has keen interests in technology and volunteering with a personal goal to “Use Technology for Solutions”. She also wishes to enhance the diversity of women in technology.

Arushi is currently working with a University Professor on research on emerging topics like Uncertainty Quantification. Arushi is National Arushi is a instructor for software languages and other tech programs at Code Ninja and Techgirlz. For her efforts in technology, Arushi received a National award from National Center for Women in Technology (NCWIT).

Arushi is also the Editor-in Chief of Bowie High School Newspaper “The Dispatch” (Top 25 School Newspapers in US). She is a Blood drive organiser at American Red Cross. Her efforts for volunteering were recognized by a National Gold Award from the US President for exemplary volunteer services.

Arushi loves to play golf and is also the Captain of her High School Varsity Golf team.
